About ISUD

The International Symposium on Ultrasonic Doppler Methods for Fluid Mechanics and Fluid Engineering (ISUD) is the most important scientific symposium on ultrasonic Doppler methods. Its purpose is to convene both specialists and newcomers to share the present knowledge about ultrasonic Doppler methods by presenting their various studies using such methods, the related methodology development itself and the implied future prospects. The biennial ISUD conference series started in the year 1996, when the first ISUD conference was held at Paul Scherrer Institut (PSI) in Villingen, Switzerland. The following conferences were held in Villingen (1999), Lausanne (2002), Sapporo (2004), Zurich (2006), Prague (2008), Gothenburg (2010), Dresden (2012), Strasbourg (2014) and Tokyo (2016). The next ISUD 11 will be held on September 5-7, 2018 at Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB), Berlin, Germany.
